Musicians Interviews (Diony Rusmania aka Ayonk, Indonesia)

Alright Lads! Today Musicians interview is none other my own friend in band and in life, Diony Rusmania [D.R] aka Ayonk, we have been in The CintaRoepiah band in 2012, and now we are self employeed and sometimes play helping other band in around Bandung and Jakarta city, and any other cities in Indonesia. For people who don't know Him will think He is "Too Serious" but if you know Him, we make Joke a lot! and sometimes prank other musicians, hahahah so here is his view about music:

First of all, please describe yourself?
Diony Rusmania aka Ayonk [D.R], Born in Bandung city, West Java Province, Republic of Indonesia on October 30, 1982.
I describe myself as a discipline person, conceptors, Planning-Actuating-Action, Humorist but also Perfectionist.

How do you get into music? How long have you been playing?

in 1993 my uncle introduce me how to play Keyboards, and teaching me suling (flute) pentatonic, diatonic flute, drums, guitars but in the end I falling in love with Bass guitar and seriously studied and play it.
I started playing in the band in the beginning 1997, and when I played with the band I never have Bass guitar of my own, I am finally have Bass guitar in 1999, my first bass guitar is Prince (I forgot the type) and start playing in a Band professionally in 2005 until now.

Do you have favorite musicians that you look up to? Role model?

Yes, I have some, Billy Sheehan (Mr.Big) it's about discipline to playing Bass and living a musicians life.

What instruments do you play and have? (What brands, etc)

I have Prince Bass, Yamaha Bass, G&L: L-2000, G&L: L-2500, Fender Squier JB-VM77

What band are you playing now (1 or 2 band? Or more)

I am a self employeed bassist and play as a additional Bassist in some bands.

What do you think about music scene today?

Music is Universal, there is no Good or Bad, it depend on your choice, If you like the music just hear and enjoy, simple.

I am still want to make album that people hoping hear it will be enjoy and happy :)
